    Nice Pics Spectre... would be nice if mine came out as clear...

    I was a little disappointed with the show this year.. especially considering how packed out it was last year?!..
    I dunno what the deal is there.

    But it was worth heading down for the arvo anyway and have a bit of a gander.

    to me it didnt seem like they were pushing the cars on the dyno too much?.
    I dunno if that was instructions from the owners or the dyno guys themselves... but I wouldnt be suprised if each car read low from their previous best HP...

    Mind you, I didnt get to see any big HP runs on the day i went

    They ran up to peak power, the couple of cars I saw just weren't making the goods. The Chrysler 300C that followed made 240rwkw which seemed okay, as did the 212rwkw of the lightly modified Supra.

    and isnt a show car...

    Maybe a fresh rebuild then? Would be good to see some more pics of it.

    Sometimes you get tough cars that are very clean - i know the 1JZ S14 is one (wish i knew what it made with that turbo setup) but some are just show ponies - and i hate them. There is no point to them.

    Yeah, the engine in Ken's AE86 isn't finished yet. It was just put in for the show, and still has a short while till its all fully complete.

    Plus knowing the kinda crowd that goes to the Autosalon, I'm sure none of them would even have noticed that it wasnt completely hooked up. Hell most of them were prolly looking at the engine bay wondering where the turbo was......
