What are they holding? The first thing that comes to mind is heat. You can spray it with WD40, put some eucalyptus oil on it, or use a priduct called yield (if you can get it). Give it a dose and wait.

P.S an air ratchet wont help much - a rattle gun will help.

210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

Extend your ratchet arm with a big breaker bar?

    either that or dynamite

Use a piece of pipe to extend the ratchet arm - works for me most of the time. Rattle guns sometimes help, sometimes not ... it's easier to really screw up the head of the bolt/not with a rattle gun.

applying the force to the nut instead of the bolt will also help

angle grinders are the cause and cure of most automotive problems

try everything before you try cutting.
breaker bar, rattle gun (best bet), massive breaker bar. try using 'single' hex spanners instead of the mulit hex ones too-help to stop stripping.

Just wait till it rusts out

Have you tried hitting it with a hammer? The shock sometimes loosens stuck bolts.

    BIg breaker bars work wonders,

Long poles/pipe on said breakers bars is better.

Also Ed's Met wrenches worked wonders on my semi stripped bolt in the g/box

whell if it ends up stripping, get some stilsens on to it. most of the time they are quite big so u can really do the job then.

P.S. Its hard to go wrong with a rattle gun and single hex socket. unless u snap the head of the bolt.
