lolz... thats the thing, im pretty sure there would be no differance between the 1s and 1g clutch and pressure plate from the aftermarket manufacturers, there not going to make more or less money to provide a few different clutch's only one to suit the same 224mm application, they just have one and you pick what you want from there, then just offer then HD, HD button, 5puck 6puck etc...

Go to exedy website and search http://www.exedy.com.au/catalogue.htm

    224mm - TYK-6311
    236mm - TYK-6081

yeah, thats what mine is doing too... when my clutch is really cooking ill get to about 5500 ~ 6000rpm and the engine will go "bruumm brummm brummmmmmmmmmm" lolz... if you catch my drift there

Just got back from the guy who made my flywheel. He pulled out a clutch cover from out that back that's for a 1G, and fitted it up to my flywheel no probs. So I said well mine doesnt do that, went and got the TYK7381 kit out of the car and showed him. He said ahh yes, ive come across that kit before. Aparrantly the clutch cover they use in the kit is actually for a hilux and is slightly different. And also said for some dumb reason exedy has put a huge price on that kit part number, yet its way cheaper to buy the components from the kit individually.

So he's making me up a custom heavy duty clutch cover based of a 1G clutch cover, but making it so the pedal is not so heavy. Its being done as we speak and it will be ready by 4 today he reckons, and he'll supply me with a clutch disc to suit, and i'll just take the whole exedy kit back to my supplier and get a credit back on the account.

The kit is costing me $330 which is a bit more reasonable than $509! I love a happy ending!
