    Default 1g Gte No Boost

    hey guys as well as my clutch being fucked i took it up the road this morning to see if it was working, but now i have no boost.

    Are they turbos and clutch gone or what

    I know that turbos need load to produce boost and if you clutch is gone enough then it wont produce any. Get that fixed before looking at your turbos.

    But if you can take the piping off and inspect them, looking for shaft play or other signs of wear (teeth missing, wear on compressor housing). This wont tell you if the wheel has fallen off the turbine though (pretty sure they are ceramic so someone correct me if im wrong while i look it up).

    ah that would make sence, well i can take off without using the clutch pretty much.
    is it going to be worth it in the long run to replace it with a Heavy Duty now?

    Not sure on what to replace it with, there are a few threads around so take a look in there but know what you want from it (intended use of car, power wanted) or if you have an engine conversion planned just go for something, even secon hand, that will last long enough.
