RG thermo switch.

I'm installing a thermo fan and was wondering if anybody has a found a thermo switch that fits in the thermostat housing in the 18rg-u. I dont fancy the "craig david" adjustable one. Theres two provisions for sensors. If so what temp range is it. I think its a 14 mm thread but cant be sure. Thanks.

Do a search for the Tridon thermoswitch thread. Lists all thermoswitches, thread size/pitch, and on/off temps/

I had a look at it but I'm unsure exactly what temp range I should be using. I posted in the hope that soomebody could take out the guess work.

Hey Maurice. I'm using the switch from an AE82 corolla along with 2 relays. Should cost you $5 from a wreckers. That said, I haven't driven the car since installing it yet. If anything, the switch will be a little on the hot side. But it should be pretty well matched- only time will tell.
