just FYi for stuff on the S/C V6 - http://v6supercharged.com.au/index.asp
FIT are awesome guys to deal with (Tony) and know their stuff.
Thanks for your suggestions hiacehunter! Please let me know how your Commuter goes when you drive it! At the moment I'm fitting Hilux 2" drop spindles on the front, upper ball joint is a pain in the arse! The later Commuters have a cast iron upper wishbone with a non-removeable ball joint which is a different size from all others. Also sorting out the rear discs (Supra) and calipers (GTST).
Speedo: Commodore gearbox with HSV instruments- electric speedo.
The Canadian tube tailshaft: great idea, I'll look into it.
Radiator: my Hiace is already diesel so radiator is OK.
Electrics: already spoken to sideshow about cleaning up wiring and fitting HSV instruments etc.
Fuel: Premium Unleaded.
Exhaust: 2.5" duel system with crossover.
With lots of mods the supercharged ecotech v6 is capable of 450 horsepower. Engine management is the key to making the engine run properly!![]()
Two-smoking barrels.
