If u got money, then its multi kevlar plate clutch all the way. Not sure if the are even made for the 200/212mm flywheels tho.

Ive driven a street/drag skyline with one and it was the most amazing feel and response.

As for me, im sticking with full face organic plates on my gze! (only cos im poor)

    thanks mate.
im mainly looking for brands as such. i have an exedy twin in the wrx, which is an extremely good kit, but i dont perticullay wanna spend that much on the ae86.

i was thinking along the lines of a normal exedy H/duty, but want ppl's opinions.

AFAIK, most people these days do run the diakin/exedy HD kit (including me).

Other than that, ive just got a lightened flywheel, so i shouldnt expect much from my clutches hence why i just stick to the cheap singles.

I have an NPC 4puck sprung center on a 4agte with a t50. I'm really happy with it, the only time it has slipped was when it got oil on it from a rear main leak.

I got 3 clutch plates, 2 pressure plates and a stocko flywheel for $50 lol.
2 of the plates are used while the one in it was brand new.

Yeah your best off staying away from the big names and find a place that can build you a clutch!

i though a custom clutch was going to equal $$$
is it worth upgrading the pressure plate?

Ive got a modded pressure plate in mine.

Apparently the spring clip thingys lose there strength over time so we just added another plate to it seeing as the pressure face near new. Other than that, id only replace the pressure plate if was showing excessive movement. The manual has the exact specs if u need to look em up.

I got a exedy HD pressure plate with 4 puck friction plate.
not great fun in traffic, but not totally undrivable, i'd imagine there are much worse.
i'd use the same when it wears out, nice and grabby, probably not the best thing for a ailing t50, but if you treat em nice t50s and paddles are a nice combo.

c2888 - does your puck plate have a spung center? Apparently they have a fair bit more give than standard center ones. But if it is bad in traffic with a spung center than thats cut it for me!!!

Oops, forgot to mention it's a sprung, thanks for reminding me biggo.
You can drive it in traffic, just takes a bit of concentrating. But not something i'd wanna be doing everyday tho.

The one i pulled off the motor was a 5 puck exedy sprung, but some noob had been riding it and making it chatter like a bitch, the rivets holding the centre to the plate had started to let go.:0

If you have to do traffic on a daily basis, get a full face organic.
