    Default 2JZ-GTE Valve Stem Seals

    EPC Says...

    2JZ Valve Stem Seal-Exhaust:
    >90913-02089 [9110-9212]
    >90913-02088 [9212-9708] (Toyota $7 ea)

    2JZ Valve Stem Seal-Intake:
    >90913-02090 [9110-9307] (Toyota $7ea)
    >90913-02106 SUBS 90913-02123 [9307-9501]
    >90913-02090 [9501-9708] (Toyota $7ea)

Can anyone tell me what the difference is, so that I can order / get the right valve stem seals in advance?!

As a side note I didn't get my engine out of a cut so I can't go off the frame number...but from the EPC
    >ECU says 9110-9308
    >Alternator says 9308-9708
    >Starter says 9210-9611

But assuming all the parts that came with my engine were the parts that came with my engine (Big assumption!). It would seem that my engine would HAVE to be 9308... I don't like assumptions!

    Update:

Toyota want $7 ea for the valve stem seals...

ACL seals via repco (ACL part number PA425-24 if the ACL chick got it right... ) are $82 (ex ACL factory).

Or I can get a whole VRS kit off ebay.com for $64usd + shipping....

    Some more EPC crawling...

There is only one valve guide listed for both intake and exhaust that covers 9110-9708...

And the 2jzgte (same as 2jzge) intake valve has two part numbers, one that subs so that covers 9110-9508 and 9508-9708... or 9110-9708.

And there is only one exhaust valve for 2jz# listed 9110-9708.

Also only 1 type of valve spring (Again 2jzge is the same as 2jzgte!) 9110-9708.

Oh and as a note all my dates relate to JZS147... as that is what I've been looking up on the EPC

I'm pretty sure any of the valve stem seals should work...

    Cheers

Hmm, in that case I'm starting to think the ACL chick might have stuffed up!

Pretty sure JZ is different to 7M..........

    jz is different to 7m

also, disregard the intake/exhaust difference in part number, if you buy ACL stock, its all interchangeable, no distinction is made. i assume the oem exhaust seals have some fancy toyota higher temp spec, but in reality it make 4/5ths no difference.
