Thanks for the great turn out guys!
    and thanks for the feedback/rep.

Yeah - there was a slight hiccup at the end meet point with burswood park absolutely packed out!..

Other than that - i enjoyed it too and was good to see such a variety and so many new faces on the OST cruise.. rzpekt.

Phil - I'll chuck up some pics on the OST site before long, so it will be just as tho you were there! hehe

Any pics? Sorry I couldn't make it. I need to find a new flywheel. On that note anyone have 1 lying around for a 1JZGTE or 7MGTE? I assume they would be the same...

You should know better that toyota moved far away from any similar designes between the p00 motor and the 1JZ, so much so that they even changed the number of studs in the flywheel from 6 (7M) to 8 (JZ)

    ...hehe jk i still love the 7m, i mean p00, i mean 7M.

It was a long slow trip home, but running that rich makes me think that that is the problem I have overall...anyway, the idler pulley bearings are $13 each from SKF, which is good, but I don't need them, the bearings are fine. The nut that holds them on was loose, having been flayed by the flapping belt!

Fitted a new SC drive belt tonight, and spaced the idler pulleys forward by 3mm, and now both Alt and SC belt run nicely in the centre of them, and it drives OK, but still runs rich.
I still think the fact that I have a GX81 ECU on a GS130 motor is the problem.

I highly doubt the ECU is your problem, my car is a Gen2 engine from a manual GA70 Supra, now running a Gen3 ECU from an auto GZ20 We'll sort it out...once i've fixed my BHG.

    Hmmm, OK.
    This sounds good.
I should send you some links to some good tech info about 7M's and BHG's in general, when I can find them....

yes yes it is. Cheers for the nice comments. The cost so far is not a lot i bought the car completely original for a $1000 then added the 18's lowered it about 3 inches, added some nice tint, stereo, custom zaust jobby, etc etc. Cost so far is less that 2k since i had most stuff already, it currently has a 5M which is very close to being pulled out and i have bought a 1UZ halfcut to try and squeeze the V8 in there...... it will be my first V8 Halfcut was the most expensive bit, but should be well worth it, and at least its different had to buy it for the pimp factor

    Cheers
    Matty
