The stock stall speed is 2200....
What is the stall speed for a A340e that comes with a 1g-gte engine, as I know the stall speeds are different for the a340e's that came with 7m-gte's and 1jz-gte's.
Thanks.

Is that for the 1g-gte? Thanks.
I did a stall test and with the foot down it goes quickly upto 2500RPM then creeps upto 3000rpm, at 3000 rpm the wheels start to spin.
Does that mean there is a problem with my transmssion? as it revs more than 2200 RPM?
No thats just the lack of torque that the 1G has down low. Hence why its shit off the line. On the other hand you should not be doing that as you are heating up your transmition oil, and if you do it long enough you will cook the oil and fuck your tranny eventually. If you are going to do any tranny mods first thing is put a tranny cooler for the oil. Heat is the Auto's biggest enemy, that is why a shift kit actually extends the life of a tranny as there is less slipping beetween shifts and hence less friction. The best bang for your buck if you are not going to do a manual conversion is to install a MV Automatics 2800 stall and 1.5 shift kit. Makes a world of diffrence. This with a good oil cooler for the trans and you can stall it off the line and get a better launch then a manual, as you build boost up standing still, and leave the line with about 8psi or so depending on your setup.

Oh allright, not sure why the manuals says it should not be over or under the stall speed otherwise I have problems with my torque converter.
The problem is I am in Perth and MV is in the Eastern States, so I cant get parts etc.
My Tranny is allready stuffed up so I guess it wont matter, as it slips like a bitch, and I suspect sometimes it does not down shift and I remain in 2nd gear when trying to take off.
I had another thread where I did a diagnostic and revealed I have some faulty solenoids, and I dont know where I can get replacements.
