i got 2 of the same part numbers, the size on the exhaust cam is bigger part number 930886
hmm, the toda gears look like this...
or you want to remove VVT altogether?
hmm, the Toda instructions say the AE101 ex is compatible with 16V, but the 111 is different to the 16V and 101

fidanza only list a part number for "4AGE/4AGZE" on their site... so one would assume that it is for 16V (and maybe ex side of AE101/silvertop)
maybe you need to get Toda ones that are for removing VVT for the AE111??

yeh, i know what they have done, i told them i wanted them for a 4age blacktop 20v, they have just given me them for the normal 4age, cant take em back now, any one wana buy em?
how much?
if they have supplied the wrong part, and you informed them of the engine it was for, you have every right to take them back.
they should have said that they don't make them for the 20V.. and they don't.....
someone just told me they have only seen TODA for the AE111/blacktop motors and they are specific to those cams..

you dotn happen to know if when you buy different cams that they can still fit the vvt pullet? liek crow etc?Originally Posted by oldcorollas
nope.. you would have to ask them before you order....
if they say "what?" then don't order... if they say yes, get them to put it in writing![]()

Can you clarify this statement please, i'm not quite understanding? Are you saying Crow cams allow you to retain the function of the vvt mechanism? Or are you asking if any of them can?Originally Posted by Poggy
You may be better off asking the cam manufacturers/suppliers directly.

Sorry what i mean is will the toda cam gears on the VVT side fit standard cams and aftermarket cams, or will a different cam gear similar to the exhaust side be needed when going aftermarket cams.
What does Toda say? Do they say they're only for factory cams, or only for their own cams? Do they say their cams need their cam gears, or will work with factory cam gears?
