Meh, i couldn't be arsed searching further than that one thread. I can have a crack at the rolla if you want, as long as you don't mind me leaving it till a couple of days before wakefield and then only achieving a couple of things from the top of the list. And you getting my car ready. And me not actually achieving anything on your car.

Messy - last time linden, Mos, and I went down the morning of the day and came back in the evening.

I do NOT recommend it. time on the track was less than usual due to exhaustion, and both Mos and I were absolutely not at our best on the trip back (Mos had to get linden to drive part of it, I pulled over for a nap).

That may have been due to a lack of sleep, (ie: none), but still much nicer to stay at least one night, if not two

was thinking i might stay both nights. I am useless on long driving trips...and if you guys were tired, i wouldnt be able to drive at all.

track opens at 9, usually we try to be there from 8 to sign in, get some brekky, and talk some more shit

also can thoroughly recommend the accomodation, so much fun! to me it is half the fun of the track day catching up with the guys the nite before and after.

absolutely.

I used to drive down in the morning and back in the afternoon as it's just 1.5 hours for me from Wollongong, but having stayed at the Pelican the last couple of times I can highly recommend staying there instead. As Roundy said, it also adds to the enjoyment of the event as well.

Would be fun getting to know a few people. Been to a couple of nationals now...but useless with names and remembering people, so would be a good opportunity

it's a bunk-house so there are dorms of beds ranging from 4 to 6 beds in each. I think there are 5 rooms in the dorm. There are also sofas and a sofa bed on the kitchen/dining space as well. Plus there is a brilliant bonfire just outside the door as well, just hope the wind is blowing away from the dorms though...

EDIT: they have a MASSIVE deli fridge for drinks too
