RN85 wiring diagram --Alternator--Voltage reg

Can you help.

I want to get rid of the voltage reg and the bits that go with.

I have changed to a Alt (Lucas Ford) with a built in reg. So one wire goes directly to the Batt and the other goes to the dash light. But which wire colour in the loom at the inner guard is for the dash light. Since my alt is next to the Batt on the drivers side I want to get rid of all the un needed stuff.....

Sounds like you need to buy a Gregory's manual. I don't have a scanner so I can't scan mine. I'll try to remember to look up what colour wire it is over the weekend.

Looks like it's Yellow or Yellow w' Blue stripe... hope this helps you either way...
