Ok, I did a quick search of the Tech and Conversions and found nothing of use.

I've installed a vision car alarm in my KE35 and have all the important stuff working, ie immobilizer, remote central locking, siren and lights. What I'm having problems with is the door, boot and bonnet open triggers. Bonnet and boot are -ve signal inputs and the door is -ve or +ve. I've tried the different settings on the alarm and can't get these to trigger. The door trigger is connected to a double bullet socket on the drivers side where the factory button connects. The bonnet and boot are using Narva buttons shown bellow.
I did get the passenger door and the bonnet to trigger once. The door I had to push the button a heap of times. Another thing is the remote can take a few pushes before it activates/deactivates.

I'm leaning towards a bad earth or power connection.

The instructions are very basic and are of no help now.
