Make sure you order both the hydraulic tensioner and the tensioner bearing for the timing belt.

May have missed it but I don't think anyone mentioned the harmonic balancer in the 100k service.
They are a known "hidden failure" until you are stuck on the side of the road. It is the rubber bonding that lets go.
Check the suggested service life and your cars service record, if there is one, and if in doubt change it, as you have it off as part of the belt replacement anyway.

Looked on Greenline web site. Not listed. Looked on JZX90/100 forum doesn't look like there are any aftermarket pulleys. Will have to go genuine. Try Castle Hill Toyota.

What was posted was the km's that the harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley failed.

One reported at 95k. Another at 125k.

It all depends on the service history of each car, accuracy of odometer and whether the pulley has been changed at the nominated service [I don't have that info].

Both my cars - 94 MarkII and 96 Chaser appear to have been changed in Japan so I haven't actually done the job myself.

One word of caution was posted on a US site regarding the disaster caused by a pivot bolt that had come adrift and caused grief = expensive damage to the belt, pulley, idler etc. The word is use Loctite 242 or equivalent when fitting the timing belt idler pulley and torque the bolt to 25 ft/lbs.

    Hi guys,

Just a quick parts list for the engines WITH a hydraulic fan setup. Haven't been able to find the applicable numbers for this, sorry if i've missed it somewhere!! Didn't want to get rid of it and go to thermos if i didn't have to and certainly didnt want to pay stupid cash for a new water pump sooo...

For the service, i got these parts:
Cam seals x2 90311-38041 Didnt use these but could be handy
Crank seal - 90311-46001 - Also handy but i didnt need to use
Water pump seal - 16104-46030 - Replaced rather than new pump
Water pump impellor - 16131-46011 - Replaced for access to new seal
    Timing belt - 13568-49025
    Pump gasket - 16124-46011
    Accessory belt - 90916-02308
Timing belt idler pulley - 13505-46020 - Glad i replaced as the old bearing was flogged out!!
    Oil filter - 90915-yzzd2

As well as the oil and coolant which are generally off the shelf, it was all pretty straight forward, and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying an 800 buck rebuild kit off of ebay. All up this was just over 400! You can also get a rebuild kit for the hydraulic side of the pump, around 70 bucks if i remember right, but i didnt think it was necessary.

As i said, if this is already up here, sorry but i couldn't find the specifics for the hyd fan engine.

Hopefully this will help someone out there!!

    Cheers, Lee
