Brake Pad issues!?! RN41's

Hi all,

Over the weekend i have been looking thru the local wreckers, when i happen to find some RN41 front disc for my RN41 Hilux*anything to get away from the drums*! Choice as, picked them up for 160, that was everything needed. Got the rotors machined, But came across a problem when work said they can only get the brake pads from Japan. No biggy i figured. Dashed over to Repco and they were absolutely no help either. With a brake pad as an example, they still got the wrong pads ordered in...


Anyways, anyone just got me a part no. off a crossover brand. Like Bendix etc etc.

if you have an old pad, the bendix catalogue has a section where it just has the pad outlines with part numbers in it. have a flip through, find the pad with the same outline and bingo ! i have had much success with imports this way.
