quick question
do the e52 and e58 have the same drive-shafts?
Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child

thats surprising, I would have thought all ae92 gzes would still be E51 or E52.Originally Posted by Adsport

the only thing ive seen an e51 in is an aw11 the e52 has the shifter on the other side but afaik is veyr siliar internally/same as the e51 in aw11's
sw20 turbos had e153 which is similar internally to an e51 or e58 depending on year of manufacture.
Are both boxes weighed equipped with LSD?
as it looks like the E58 has one (5th picture), I was under the impression that not a lot of C52's had LSD
My E52 was from a Ae92 trueno, Early Ae92 so it was AFM.

I would think otherwise
An LSD centre has a lot more metal in it than an open centre
im sorry you'll need something more technical , we arent here to speculate we want to produce some facts![]()
I have no Factual back up, apart from lifting an LSD centre and it being heavy and lifting an open centre and it being not so heavy. if i had something to back me up i would post up info, but i don't, i was just bringing to light the fact one is LSD and one is open hoping someone can elaborate and thus making cents of the situation with some evidence.
I could be wrong, i just want to know, that's all
hrmm... well i guess i could weigh my lsd c52 tomorow to see what i come up with, (complete shafts are out though, can part and put stub axles back in required).
my cousin has a small digital weigh bridge at the machinery wreckers he works at.

The c52 is a lightweight compared to the E51.
I just ran out to the garage and weighed my E51lsd, that was pulled from a AW11 s/c half cut, dry the box itself weighs 61kg, with both shafts, 75kg, i knew it was a bruiser compared with the c52's and C56 ive put in the AW11 a few times.
John, what sort of lsd is in the C52 box you have there?
i'm not sure what breed it is mate, i bought it with a crashed import t-top na. all i know is it should go well in the vermin once i've sourced a light weight flywheel/clutch kit.John, what sort of lsd is in the C52 box you have there?![]()
can some one tell me the difference between lsd e58 and non lsd e58
