my dizzy only has 2 wires so im guesing they are firing at the same time unless they are offset in the dizzy cap/rotor setting
Isnt the 3T leading and trailing spark ??? parallel connection of 2 igniters wont do this

Looking for a new toy. If you have something 18r powered let me know.

doh double post
lilcrash, cambelt1,
Yes twin spark, you would think leading and trailing spark but testing it myself and many other have also and found they both spark at the same time even the rotor phasing results in sparking at the same time.
advantages of the original hardware, you can interface the knock control computer and I am sure splitting the signal has some electrical implications i.e. weaker signal due to load. However it ran ok for me and lilcrash has a similar setup working ok for him. I didn't run it for long so can't talk about the reliability of such a setup.
By the way I don't use the original gear anymore I am using a megasquirt but still use the 5m/22re ignitor for a tacho signal.
