See if you can use the X4 or X6 modules ( http://www.microtechefi.com/microtec...p?product_id=7 ) or just be done with it and go CDI.

Btw, Iridium plugs use less energy to spark under the same conditions, so you have some leeway there as a cheap alternative using the current ignition system.

Ive got BKR7s gapped to 0.6 and havent had any missfire issues. Stock motor, Vipec and gt42r yeilded 468rwkws (630hp)

you have the x6 box dont you? mine has happily run 42psi before with an x6 with no issues with the bosch coils

i just solved my misfiring problem.!
but now i wanna make sure im getting enough fuel pressure. anyone know what i should be running fuel psi for about 500hp

as long as your afr's are in check your all good. fuel pressure, injector size and injection timing all play a part in carrying fuel for hp. usually 28-38psi at idle for fuel pressure.

well def not unigroup. they completely fuked my car last time and had it for 4 month just for a simple install ecu and tune
i was gonna go to matouks who i think own VL GOD or SAS

yeh he is a good microtech tuner,
as for bringing it up the freeway i want to but ive sold my car trailer and tow car so ill just have to stick to taking it to matouks. but hes been great so far

yes,
45psi with no vacuum on the pressure regulator is normal fuel pressure on most cars,
dont know why you would go lower than that? You would loose spray pattern.

guys sorry to bring up an old thread bu im having this problem i think
at 440rwhp my car is misfiring, at the moment im putting it down to fuel but cause also be spark
im running bosch coils and leads and ngk plugs 0.7 at the moment on 2jz with microtech ignighter
o was gonna go back to 0.6 to try that

make sure your voltage is stable at high rpm, make sure its not dropping due to average alternator or wiring...

wen the tuner changed my plugs the 2nd lead wasnt on 100%
was on enough not to misfire but under alot of boost it would misfire.
