    DAY DONE AND WON!

I highly recommend doing this guys it was by far the best day i have ever had in a car! (and it wasnt even my car) There was everything from the basics before lunch and even 70kmh+ powerslides after lunch.

Az i only had one drive with you mate and popped a tyre but i had a ball until i popped the tyre in the other car too. Thanks again for it all

    Cheers Graeme

project D run a drift school in our own cars,
but we also do skid pan days and track days, thats when you use your own car.

The idea of the school is that you can learn to drift in a closed environment, and hone your skills and learn your limits. we will teach you all the basics to get you started, all this is done in our cars, so you dont have to worry about if you car is gonna start the next day for work.(as a treat we usually have a D.A. driver there to give passenger runs in there cars)

then you come to our open skidpan or track days where you can put all your new found skills to work, or refine technique.

We have a track day on the 11th oct driftland at oran park.
there are a couple of spot left if anyone is interested.

    cheers Az

Any news bart on the day? Or should we just join others and let them do all the work?

I dunno at this stage champ.
But it does make it very easy when you can just join other days like Initial Drift
    or Project D.

When I created this topic, there was only really Initial D days, and they are pretty full-on
especially for beginners, and they don't really appreciate heaps of spin outs while they
are initiating 80km/h drifts right behind you. But I have been forced to get used to it,
so I suppose it don't really matter now.
I was just organising the Toymods day to see if we could make it cheaper,
and maybe bring passengers. But if you guys wanna get amongst a Project D or ID day
in the meantime, feel free to do so. As long as you are getting out there and driving it!

    Cheers,

    Nice.
Seems like this thread has yeilded some very good results after all.
Even though we are yet to actually organise our own day.
    BUT
now we have a register of peeps who are keen for drift days.
many people subscribed on here that do drift days.
and now links to places to get info and actually DRIFT THEIR SHIT!!
Which is great cause there ain't alot of Toyotas being drifted and we
can't let the nissan-missin lads have all the fun!

So maybe if we can keep this thread going, I have changed the title a bit,
and just keep updateing everyone through this thread of upcoming drift days
that way no one will miss anything. Gav, Deano, INOSNT, TIMTAMS, thundertiger, etc
keep the great info coming dudes.
Everyone else... if you know of any upcoming drift days in NSW anywhere, anytime
    share the love guys!

I will start the ball rolling....

THIS SUNDAY the 26th of October.
Ric and the Project D crew are holding a skid-pan drift day...should be sweet.

    Hey guys,

The Project D skidpan day was an absolute blast.
There was 1 or 2 peeps from here there.
    Namely a brown corrolla??

At any rate, this was a gang of fun, I got lots of track time which was great.
Ran out of tyres but had a bloody good time destroying them.

There is another drift day on THIS WEEKEND COMING or so Deano tells me.
I am a pork hunt but I am trying to stretch the coin...need cheap tyres! LOL

But get amongst it Toyota Drifters!!

    Cheers,
