    Default 4age silvertop computer issues

    Hi guys,
Put a silvertop into a suzuki sierra been driving around having a ball but its been charging at about 15 volts sometimes up to 15.8 at times. Drove it into the shed last night all good. Now it wont start, pulled a plug and theres no spark.

Checked 12v into computer, all good, but nothing out of IGF or IGT. Is it possible ive cooked the computer with voltage or is there something else i should be checking?

Possibly a dead coil / igniter. Test if your getting 12v at the coil terminals.

Have swapped a new coil and igniter and another o2 sensor i flashed the codes and it comes up with 21 which is o2 sensor. I swapped in another and no change. Surely this shouldn't stop it starting though?

no o2 on a silvertop only makes them sluggish off the mark sometimes

check for spark on each plug
check for injector pulse on each injector
    check for fuel pressure
    check timing
check inside ecu for leaking capcitors very very common

I have seen heaps of silver top ecus with leaking capacitors inside them. Take the lid off and have a look. The caps leak dark stuff that can eat at the circuit board. Try metho and a toothbrush to clean it and get new caps from Jaycar.
