The 7M-GE wiring loom is similar to the 1G-GZE, with a lot of the plugs being common, that said however, the ABV and electric clutch controls for the 1G-GZE are unique and it would be a right PITA to adapt another loom to drive your motor.
Given what you have, but not knowing your ultimate goals, I reckon you have the makings of a good single turbo conversion with aftermarket ECU. It would certainly give you a better shot at any high horsepower goals you may have.

big thanks for that... i think if i go the supercharger route, it will involve a fixed pully (if i go m90 eaton espically), intercooler and maybe a BOV on the intercooler piping, so *maybe* i could get away with that. only problem being, SC always engaged.

the ABV is the air bypass valve on the SC plenum right? something like that?

had a look at the 1ggz im getting yesterday and to my suprise its almost complete... brackets for sc, intake and exhaust manifolds, coils sill on it, etc...

so im defently getting a sc14 for it as its in almost close enough not to complete.

also been looking at cpu's on yahoo auctions japan...

the pin outs are the same between a gx71 1gge and a gs121 crown 1ggze...

so... whats the chances of running a 1ggze, fixed pully, intercooler, 1ggze cpu and 1ggeu loom? no clutch to control, void the ABV and trick make someting up for the coils to work?

A couple of words of wisdom from an old hand:

1) You can't do your build on the cheap. In the end it will cost you the same or more than just getting a package. What's more, a package comes with warranty and usually with engine kms known. It's a lot of work to get an engine in only to discover it's a dud!

2) If you have already bought the engines and bits then you must use a GZE ecu to run the 1GGZE. A 1GGE or TE ecu will have the wrong mapping. Hopefully you will have the half loom on the 1GGZE so then it's possible to splice in a 7MGE loom (I've done it myself) or modify a 1GGTE loom if the ecu plugs happen to be same as the 1GGZE ecu.

3) An M90 will be too big. You would be suprised how much power a roots blower actually requires to make boost. Get yourself a copy of Street Supercharging by Pat Ganahl. It's a wealth of information if you want to pusue supercharging.

4) Don't change cams on a 1GGZE. Supercharged engines don't like a lot of duration. I have tried swapping 1GGE cams and it gave a negative result.

5) Don't use an aftermarket ecu on a 1GGZE. Absolutely a waste of cash and the difference won't be noticeable.

6) A 1GGZE with 14psi and intercooled is a really great street performer and far less expense then other options. Most people look at shear power figures but nail a 1GGZE off the mark and you'll see why I like them so much.

G'day.
Did you do anything special/extra with the stock ECU to handle 14psi?
How did you route the air flow post S/C and back to the inlet manifold?
I would be a mess to use the stock positions and still get boost air to the front of the car and get it cooled down.

The answer to your first question is No, nothing at all. ECU is fine to 14 psi.

To get air back we inverted the part that bolts on to the underside of the manifold and welded it to a new plate.
