    Default 1ggte spigot bearing, need a part #!!

    Hey, does anyone happen to know what the part # would be for a spigot bearing to suit a
    1ggte??

    i got told a 6201 by skf the inside diametre is ok but its too big on the outside.

    help please!!

    Just make sure you measure the correct part of the flywheel, it goes in and seats on the first shoulder, not right into the blind hole. Usually they are a pretty generic size eg 12mm id, 32mm od, I think I remember that being the size of my 3sgte one.

    If it goes into the crank, perhaps the shoulders are different.

    What do you mean, by too big on the outside diameter?

    It does need to get hammered into the back of the crank (with a large socket on the OD of the bearing so as to not damage it).



    Exedy also say 1G is 6201 spigot bearing...

    7M, 1G and JZ spigot bearings are all the same, its 6201.

    strange it seemed to be too big on the outside diametre. ill have another look tommorow i hope you guys are right

    If it is actually too big, the next std size down on the od is a 6001.

    6001 is 4AGE and probably other engines with the crank of a similar size.

    Got one straight from toyota and its definatly smaller than the 6201 so its not gonna be the same as a 1jz, not sure about 7m

    the part # is 9036312003 for anyone interested cost about $17

    1ggte = 6001

    I find that a bit odd since they all use the same gearbox. 7MGE with a W58 is 6201.

    They all have a 12mm ID on the bearing, the OD is what changes.

    just to clarify..I'm using a w58 behind a 7MGE so which is the part number I need...Just orderd 7mgte one but could be wrong
