Hi,
I run Hoppers Stoppers on Trini (RA28) and there was no offset or other change. Stops on a dime
I used the 4-stud unit. The only issue is you need to have 16inch or larger diameter wheels if you are running something like Simmons, where the bolts that hold the rim together can touch the brake calipers.

thats odd river, ive got 15's (as you saw) and the brakes clear with miles of room. is it something unique to simmons that you have found or do know of other wheels with the same problem?
previously i had 15x7 konig rewinds now have 15x8 SSR mesh

Hi,
I don't know. I had 16inch Simmons and they said they'd fit, so I was happy with that and did no further investigation.
Oh, one more thing, I also got a new master cylinder with the brake upgrade. It's recommended by Hoppers Stoppers and when it comes to brakes I like to be sure I got all the necessary and spec'd-up components.

I have 15" simmons and was contemplating the hoppers kit but I am now concerned as to clearance issues due to the rims being 3 piece.
Can anyone verify this?

Hi,
Just ring them and ask. They're pretty good to speak too.

15" SSR 3pc wheels clear with plenty of room, when i purchased the kit it was recommended i run minimum 15" wheels.
also go the bigger master as well, just needs some braided lines to get a perfect pedal feel.

I have decided to go with the hilux peugeot setup as I have a set of RT132 struts and a set of rotors that i bought a while ago, rotors are getting machined down now so all I really need are the hilux calipers to complete it.

Thanks, that confirms it!
And I got the full kit with new MC and braided lines...just gotta find some rims now...bugger me I went 5 stud kit cause I thought it would be easier to get rims but I can only find 2-3 that will fit without going full custom made (Simmons, BBS etc) which also = $$$.
Cheers
