how close are the mounting points?

they dont look too far away but... those cradles are back to back.

how do you plan to run the shock/spring?

i ended up making a strut tower and it sits roughly where the old MA61 dampener was

The rear mounts are almost exactly the right width apart but need to come forward 40mm.
The front outer mounts are almost exactly the right distance forward but need to move inwards about 30mm.
The shocks mount below the alloy wishbone and lay on a backwards incline and MA61 spring tower lays on a forward incline however the biggest problem is that coilovers will need to be very short or extend the tower into the cabin.
A bit more research to source shocks and tyres and some other consultations before I get out the grinder and Mig.
    (I asked about 275 40 16", no go).

Yes I did see it, you guy's thought it was MA70, locally I found a GTR (4ws) & UZZ31, both huge, went to my favorite place in Melb for a closer look at MX83, new they had a
MZ21 but thought it would be a swing arm! So I thought I'd buy it and ask questions later. Seems to be lots of MX83, they do have more projections toward fuel tank, mainly torsion bar, but similar overall dimensions.
What about the smaller Soarers MZ10, what did they have swing arms? and did they use G diffs or only F series?
I searched for G ratios but I thought there was a 3.2:1 is that century?

Z10/11/12 all have identical suspension layout/design to the MA61. possible small width changes ets.

all models had F series apart from the manual MZ12 which had a G series (so says the epc)

MZ10 is identical to MA61 but with 20mm wider track.

    Same as MA61.

Only the MZ12 GT LTD Manual got a G series diff (rare as!), all others are F series...

Thanks guys, the wreckers did have an early one but I didn't get to see it but I recon I might have the best for the job, and it's Toyota.
Good chance I'll get 50/50 balance with this at the back and UZ at the front!

why not buy the kit off wilbo666 (or whoever else helped with its design) and fit that to reduce the amount of camber?

if its just because you want to run a larger diff then chase a G series rear end (complete) out of a GX71 and it should bolt straight up requiring only a tailshft to be modded/built to suit

you can run a 1 piece tailshaft in an MA61 with no dramas.

what kit are you talking about and will it fit the mx73?
