You can get SPOOL rods, and there in stock now... Would end up being similar money too. I supplied a set to a customer just last week.Originally Posted by 30psi 4agte
Forcefed6, reckon you could annoy SPOOL and ask them to do a few 7AGE rods? I know a few people here would be keen..
Would be interesting to Know How much each of the Brands Conrod weight was .
Yes. Check their website.Originally Posted by 30psi 4agte

dunno if this helps but heres what I know:
- spool 4age rod is 465 complete
- belfab says their 4age rod is 460g but dont say if its with bolts
stock is 506g for a silvertop and 485g for a blacktop
Im pretty sure the 7A rods if they ever make them will be lighter than the stock rods, and way stronger.
These rods are now available: http://www.belfabracing.com/product_...oducts_id=1314
Official weight reads in at 460g for the 7A rods.
I as well as around 5 other guys have ordered theirs already.

That's fantastic, it's almost incentive for me to go buy a 7A block... (reaches for wallet)
So tempting![]()

This is a no lose situation. Now there is really no excuse not to get a 7A if you were building an engine from scratch.
This engine can spin to 8000 easy, and most 4A builds dont seem to go over 8000.

(aside from turbo4agte) has anyone in AU bought a set of these rods? if so ; how much was shipping to AU and how long did it take to get them here?
I put in a order last week , , Around $40 US for shipping to AUST .The Rods are only being Shipped at the end of May . Should take 5-9 days to get to Aust .
$430 delivered for a set of custom forged rods for a 7A application. that is soooooo cheap.
