cant you just replace the diff centre without replacing the whole diff or rear axle? might be a easier conversion to do and alot cheaper. Correct me if im wrong though as im currently after sort of the same thing?

sick of one wheel doing all the work lol

just up grade you brakes with a pair of XT130 corona struts complete. It will only cost you about $100-150 for a pair. This will give you far better braking power and its cheep.

I still managed to crash with a lux/pug upgrade and only 137kw

    Cheers

note the r31 lsd is the cone type lsd which is not great, it works semi decent
but does wear out quickly, it can be rebuilt a few times.

clutch pack lsds are the best i would say and can be 1 way, 1.5 way or 2 way.

torsen is another option in the world of lsds but they need both wheels
on the ground to operate and cheap torsens needs rebuilding before installing.

I do want to get more power in the future and that is why i did want to get a better upgrade than the pux/lux one. i would still only use the car for street, maybe one day in the future i might go on the track but highly unlikely.

I havn't gone through any diffs yet. I only really want to upgrade the diff so that i can use the same wheels for when i get the front brakes upgraded. If i can leave the diff for now and keep my current wheels on the back and just upgrade my front brakes and put the new 16" wheels on than i will and i'll just get the diff done at another time. unless there is a cheap strong diff available.

Clint, how good is that MS112 diff? as in strength and suitability wise and price, thanks
