I find the same as Draven said above, I hit 200 just past the start/finish line, give the brakes a quick stab while still in a straight line, coast through the kink with no brakes/throttle (otherwise it just locks the inside front if I try to hold some brake) then jump on the anchors after straightening up before turn 2.
Panelvan needs some more weight over the back wheels to keep it a bit more stable under brakes methinks![]()

Rev match haha, I tried that with the auto & just surged forward insteadnow I just wait till the last moment before downshifting, and have to rely on the brakes only to slow up.
You should see my heel & toe technique, its amazingly easy when you only have two pedalsHeels on the floor, toes on the pedals

lol the sprinter you could take the kink with the pedal flat to the floor and even accelerate past the kink up to 155-160km/h lol even then u dont need to brake much to get it to turn in for turn 2

blake, 200kph thru the kink isn't bad its just seeing the road disappear quickly when on the brakes for turn 2 that scared the crap out of me.
this was the first time id been out in a car. done a few laps on the bike but a car is well different.

the end of the main straight isn't that badimho... it's the last turn that does me in. harder to guage speed and braking distance.
wait until you try and tackle it in the wet, then tell me how scary the kink can be.
going backwards towards the wall @ 150 in my old corolla was not fun...

yeah, I'm not too keen on trying it in the wet. on the plus side, there's no way I'd have traction to built up 200km/hr in the wet

new surface makes taking the kink faster a lot easier.. I was hitting it around 180 and the brakes were really struggling to pull it all up in time.
