    Found this :

    http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/me...tml?1134394630

For $25, this person is selling workshop CD's for all the Old Soarers (z10/z20) but are all in japanese, however have all the diagrams etc.

I emailed him about it, now he's telling me it requires a Japanese Version of windows to open, however there are still ways to access the files, so im going to try get the CD Somehow.

Late one night , my windows wouldn't go back up, so I had to manually power them up from the cigarette lighter using a couple of bits of fencing wire I found. It was very Macguyver.

I thought about fixing it, but couldn't be bothered tracking it down. An auto electrician fixed mine without a wiring diagram for $60. Hardly worth my time messing about for that.

Bumping this up, I have the same problem.. the other day I had both my front windows down, turned off the car and 30 min later when I tried to wind the windows up they didn't work. The windows, mirrors, sunroof and electric seat don't work now, so they must be on the same circuit.

I've checked all the fuses, which are ok... fiddled around with the plugs and wiring in the drivers door but everything looks ok and checks ok with the multimeter except there is no power.

The drivers window switch plug has 6 wires..
    Code:
    White/Black Power.. or negative??
    Red Window Motor +/-
    Green/Yellow Window Motor +/-
Blue Goes to passenger switch (could this be (+) power for both windows?)
    Blue/Yellow Goes to passenger switch
    Blue/Black Goes to passenger switch
The passenger window switch plug has 5 wires if I remember correct
    Code:
    Red Window Motor +/-
    Green/Yellow Window Motor +/-
    Blue
    Blue/Yellow
    Blue/Black
I looked at the electric seat wiring colours and there was a white/black wire going to that also but on both the drivers window and the seat wiring the white/black wire is earthed.

Was anybody able to find a diagram or anything? It doesn't seem like the problem is in the door wiring, I checked the pins for the 2 door plugs near the fusebox and none of them had power.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi all, hoping somwinw can shed some light on this.

Coming home from the Gym i put both my windows down.

Once i got home, i was unable to get them back up. i've tried the driver and passenger switch, neither work.

My mirrors still work as does the central locking, seats, cabin light etc etc.

Checked the drivers side fuses, all are ok.

Wierd thing is that the drivers switch doesn't click in like it does when you want it to close all the way.

    ***UPDATE***

I went and pulled the switch out, while making sure the connections and wiring all looked fine.

Blew some air into the switch to try and clean it out.

Re-connected it and now it seems to function fine.

So not sure what the deal is, however both windows work now.

Anyone know whats going on? it seems a bit strange for both to go at the same time.

    M_Green,

The Passengers switch is wired through the drivers switch, so if the drivers switch has a bad contact, the passengers switch wont work as well.

Mine still play up sometimes.. I just kick the drivers kickpanel (lol) a few times and they start working again
