Thank you to everyone thats given feedback for ToyoShow 2009, I've made a list of the purposed changes, but these arent set in stone so feel free to comment!

First of all, it'll be over a long weekend. The weekend of the Adelaide Cup infact, this gets it away from the Big Day Out (that I keep missing out on!) and gives us another day to use for the show. (Read below)

    ToyoShow Motorkhana!!
This will be not counted towards scoring, just some cheap fun for entrants. We will be limiting the entrants to 40 for the motorkhana, it'll be priced into the show and will require a CAMs license. (As part of the CAMs insurance)

    The scoring system is getting a complete re-work;
There will be 3 categories for the show cars; Show, Enthusiast and Classic.
Show will be required to have a full display, including the carpet under the car, a 'border' and some type of display board. The show cars will be judged for under caridge cleanliness but will also score bonus points for the display. The displays DID NOT count towards ToyoShow in previous years.
Enthusiast will not be required to have a full display, but will score full points for under caridge cleanliness automatically (and some other bits that every day cars cant be expected to have/meet) and all these cars must be registered. Enthusiast is for the everyday driven car, or the drift pig alike.
Classic is for cars 25 years and over. Classic will score bonus points for every year of age - as we are all aware it's hard to restore an old car, and it's easier to clean a new one!
All 3 categories will be eligable to ToyoChamp, however they must do the cruise, dyno and show. (Not the motorkhana).
The one other suggestion we've been hearing a lot if the judges; do you think we need to replace there judges we use? please let us know if you agree!

The sound off will be run again with a standard test CD to make it fair on everyone. Everyone will be forced to keep to the 2 run limit. Sound off did not, and will not count towards ToyoChamp.
The Dyno Day will run as it did in previous years. The score did not count towards ToyoChamp, but was part of the criterior for being ToyoChamp. There is also now a 'perpetual trophy' for Dyno champ - this will be kept at Boostworx.
The cruise route will change and the 'scoring' for fun prizes will be enhanced / changed or ditched (TBA), this hasnt been decided yet. We would be keen for any good ideas however.
There WILL be shirts available for ToyoShow 2009
    There WILL be a DVD.
The exhaust test will be ensured with a backup testing device and better procedures.
On a side note, all the scoring will move to a computer based system to ensure the judging is enhanced, and will allow us to get the results out a lot faster than previous years.

Thanks for all you input guys!!
Are there any other ideas or suggestions? Please sent them in!
Hopefully the new changes will 'fix' the problems in previous years and make for a great Toyota enthusiast weekend!
