It is definitely nice. I am impressed with your craftsmanship. I reckon i might have to think about what i want from the intake manifold. Saying that, i've seen a few different designs recently and i have to say that your's is one of the better ones for sure.

Phenomenal! And i thought the 550cc injectors i had were over the top. Thoroughly impressed and can't wait to hear more about it.

Iam also thinking of fitting the gearset to replace the lower timing chain.
Has anyone had or heard any horror storys about these kits failing .

    12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

Turbotoy, was that power figure on an engine dyno? or was it on a chassis dyno?

actually 1881cc if Toyota put the 3tgte displacement to 1.8 been a 1770, this 3tgte can be called a 1.9

What do you think of these? I nearly bought a set for my motor but was talked out of it by an engineer mate. I ended up buying some I-Beams instead. Do you have the specs for them?

Specs on his web site just 3tc rods. Not sure why he took them out one of the best available!

From memory, my mate was talking about the cross-sectional strength of the x-beam rods being a lot less than that of I-beam ones. He gave me a link ages ago that explained the math behind why I-beams are heaps stronger than the same sized H-beams and when inputting the dimensions of the x-beams, the I-beams still won out. Definitely no having a go at your rod choice, I was just interested in finding out your opinion on them.

As got the specs, any idea what they weigh? The website doesn't list the weight (and I'm assuming they weigh less than my I-beams due to their design).

    Cheers.
