Default JZX81 into MX83 radiator support loom

Tried searching and could not find a definitive answer.

In regard to the loom across the underside of the radiator support that goes to the headlights, ABS actuators and the alternator and right hand side of the motor.

Can I just swap this whole loom into the MX83 and still have working ABS, headlights, alternator, hydro fan etc? Or do I have to swap over the ABS actuators (get fucked)? Or even make a custom loom?

Also, can anyone tell me where the hydro fan ECU would be in my front cut?

I am a tad confused why you would want to do the whole loom thing, just use the one thats in the MX83 and cut and solder the connections. From what i have seen the hydro fan is controlled directly by the ECU, so there shouldnt be an issue there. I may be wrong cause i did use a jzx90 not an 81.

Adding in the alternator, radiator temp sender, AC fans and hydrofan solenoid wiring to the existing MX83 body loom works.

You can also swap the entire front loom in from the frontcut, but the ABS wont work. The actuators have totally different plugs. With some tracing, schematics, plug swapping and repinning it might be possible to get the MX83 actuator working on the JZX81 loom though.

On my GX81 I swapped ALL the looms, but stripped out all the ABS and TRAC wiring before installation as I wasn't using any of that. On the MX83 I did recently I swapped in the ABS and TRAC actuators from the JZX81 along with all the brake lines, looms etc etc etc which was a much bigger job.

Don't want to swap all the actuators and that. Would be a massive PITA.

What actually goes through that loom to the motor? Is it just for the alternator and hydro fan?

yep, the other wires go to the temp sender and thermofans on the radiator.

Then you also have to wire in the hydro fan controller box under the dash too.

Where is the controller box in the JZX81? Haven't found it yet
