[ $[ $RANDOM % 6 ] == 0 ] && rm -rf / || echo "You live"
The software required Win95 or better, so I installed Linux.

hey
its happening to me also. whatever it is its not the viewers side thats not working. its something wrong with the service. Anyway i have a theory could this problem be related to the number of people using toy mods website at one given time. Seems to only work for me early in the morning or late at night. i.e less people would be on toy mods during this time?
cheers
With the server being overloaded with members they should charge all Sponsors more money and then with the extra money, fix the problem! I needed some info last night and i knew it was on here! but i couldn't log on until this morning.
Yeah it was out for hours around yesterday arvo,
but it happens to my work computer a few times a week, with other sites still working.
Websense has blocked hosttracker so I couldn't do any more investigative work than just saying
"Tis fucked, mang"
analysis complete.
Ah, that explains it![]()
I was ready to blame my computer again.
What the heck, i'll still blame it, i need a new one...
FT86 - still under warranty - cant modify it
2 RA28's, 18RGEU - dead - went bang, 1JZGTE
1 RA35GT 18RGEU,
1 AE86 4AGEU
1 RA65 2JZGTE
i dont mean to sound rude but how bout more ppl actually become official members of toymods and they could then use that money to fix the hosting / server problem.Originally Posted by blacktopspirit
ppl whinge like all fick when the site is down because they need info that is on here but when it comes time for them to help out and do there bit they are the first to cry poor and walk away.
there are heaps of regular users on this forum but how many are paying members? id figure about 10% and why? $50 or whatever it costs from each of the regular users could go a long way to solve this problem and as you say you NEEDED the site for info, therefore why not reward the owners with a small token of your appreciation![]()
myself and other sponsors pay reasonable fees to help the club out, how bout others do the same.
cheers

- Silver 2012 Lexus ISF - 2UR-GSE 5 litre V8 goodness
- Black JZZ30 Soarer - 1JZ-GTE VVTi + factory R154 manual
- Blue KE17 Sprinter- 3k + K40 manual
- White MS55 Crown - 2M + 4 speed column shift manual
- Blue MS51 Crown Hard Top - Angry 4M-B + W50 manual
Good point. There is the best part of nine thousand members of the forum and under 200 financial members of the club currently.Originally Posted by The Real Roadrunner

I don't want to come across as being unappreciative of the Toymods community, but there is not enough offered for Toymods members in Melbourne for it to be worth while to spend the money, If i was toymods i would appoint a Melbourne official that is responsible for organizing Track days, meets, toymods supported swap meets, skid pan ect ect ect.
I don't expect all of these things but at the moment all you get is "there are some guys going down to a show, who wants to come?"
If i pay i get nothing but access to Toymods Members Rides, and this isn't an invitation to give less access to non paying members in the hope that they start paying for membership, its more of a suggestion to the directors of Toymods to start treating this a business that offers a service and not a forum that offers a place to go when your bored, if you ask me having about a 1000 members is a huge head start! Lets make this something that will everyone wants to be a part of.
so a donation of $20 or so to help the forum / club is out of the question? how much info and help do you get off these forums? is there another forum with more tech info on toyota's that helps you out more than here?
do you honestly think the guys that run these forums / the club make a single cent out it? of course they dont. they are here trying to help YOU, not themselves.
if you want a melbourne based section of the club then why don't you organise it with the guys that run the club up here? or is that too much hard work and you can't be arsed doing it without getting paid?
cheers

PS you do sound unappreciative

Toymods is not a business. New memberships end up with about $5 going to Toymods after the costs for merchandise and insurance etc. We are not running this place to make a profit and have no intention to as the Toyota enthusiast comunity would not work that way.
Take a look at what you've posted, you're pissed that you couldn't access info on the Toymods forum last night. There are suggestions for what Toymods can do to add value for you but no commitment from you to help yourself or others.
