I made a bar for my RA60 (just like Norbie's). I used 5mm flat bar and 5mm wall 25mmD' tube, squashed the ends of the tub a bit, slotted them and welded it all together. Bar seems stiff, and i thought it was. Til i stripped the interia, and really there isnt much holding it to the body, pull the plastic cover completly off and you will see. I would get a pic by my car is shamefully messy, battery over charged n sprayed behind the passenger seat.. The way to get something really stiff would be to do the same idea but bolt it down to the guard hump instead of the seat catch bracket.

Also can function as a "oh crap i need to stop in a hurry and have heavy things in my boot" stopper.

It's also a great way to stop large objects from fitting in your hatch which used to fit easily before, like the lawnmower I had to transport the other week.

I use to strap my sub to it.. til i realised there is no use for a back seat or the rest.. not it just gets in the way of my bikes and numerous wheels i move around. I'll post up pics of mine in a few days, just need to get the cam at work to load up the pics.

    Looks good.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with rollcages in their MA61's? Or know of any?
