    Just a quick question
I am ordering some stainless steel fuel line and i need to know what wall thickness will be best for efi
I have options from .90mm to 2mm thickness
Also will 3/8 line be big enough for 2jzgte with 044 pump

    thanks

stainless will be difficult to bend and shape to suit your car, unless you are using straight pieces only? Usually people use bundy tube which is easy to work with.

yeah i bought some bundy tube and it is way too weak
When i flare it it falls to pieces
Im trying to do the lines similar to factory lines with the nuts to screw in and all that shit

I have a pipe bender for it already

Weird, i recently bent up my 3/8th fuel lines using the copper coated steel bundy with no problems... flares and all.

Stainless is far more of a bitch to deal with than mild steel... 10mm should be plenty big enough, unless you have some seriously big ambitions!

when you are flaring the bundy, you are probably doing a single flare, and in that case it will fail easily. Double flaring is the proper way, a bit of an art to get right though.

Wall thickness won't matter, the pressures involved are SFA so the thin-walled stuff will never fail.

i used 316 stainless steel if i recall i braught my tube from bankstown air port some aviation place the tube was in the anealed state so it was easy to bend and flare, from there i went to a motor sport place to finish the job off with s/s flex lines to the calipers, never have to wory about brake lines again in my lifetime anyway.

    Thats brake line though.
There is a BIG difference between that and 3/8ths tube in its strength and the tools required to bend & flare it.
