why should anyone take the time to "prove" anything to you? opinions have been given, im certain a search would turn up more opinions than you can poke a stick at

as with a lot of stuff there is no right and wrong answer....it mostly comes down to personal preference....so YOU decide something

I love my eBoost2. I used to have a Gizzmo and it struggled to control boost on my car because I couldn't adjust the sensitivity.

The eBoost2 took most of the spike out of my boost curve, and kept my boost curve flatter to redline, and that was before I played with the correction feature.

As well as the aforementioned shift light, it has an audible alarm you can use to shift gears. Good for when you've got a helmet on at the drags, the 1G isn't the loudest of engines and if you're focussing on the track it's easy to miss a shift point. I set it about 300rpm before my ideal shift point, and by the time I've registered and dipped the clutch I'm at the perfect shift point.

As a bonus, I was able to sell my old boost gauge because the eBoost2 has a digital one as well.

although i recently gained sponsorship form turbosmart, my honest opinion on my EBOOST's have been great

i had an EBOOST 1 in the car for 4 years, it worked fautlessly. i think my results speak for themselves.

in the last 2 months i have gone to an EBOOST 2 only due the the fact that my external set point did not work on my EBOOST 1. Turbosmart came to the party Sponsoring me with a brand new EBOOST 2.

i love the options i have with the EBOOST, the boost control and the options within the EBOOST will certainly be very helpul in going faster again.

also you ned to remember, your wastegate setup is just as important as the controller telling it what to do.

I find the audible alarm to be good, however no where loud enough. I wish it had adjustable volume as it isn't all that loud, and over a noisy exhaust, noisy turbo and screamer pipe you more or less can't hear it at all
As far as using the EBoost as a gauge goes, i have found it difficult to observe digital gauges under stressfull situations ie wheelspin/sidways/going really fast/racing etc.. i've been trying for ages but i think i'm just gonna keep the regular old gauge as well for that purpose now.

Interesting, i can only imagine this may be because:

    1. Eboost 2's alarm may be louder?
    2. The installation position of mine may muffle the sound?
    3. My screamer may be louder?
    4. I may be deaf?

Haha sorry i didn't mean to challange you, it's just honestly how i find it.

Haha, mine is on my dash which could explain everything, and the XX while loud from the exhaust is fairly quiet engine wise, the full helmet seems to mask most of the induction and turbo noise.

You guys are paying $700 for just a boost controller? GTFO!

Invest a couple more hundred, and slip an aftermarket ECU in that does boost control for you (Adaptronic for example)

Have you got it tuned yet?
I know you were having issue with it when you first put it in for drifting...
Did you get the steady state tune finished?

Also, have you tried using the Adaptronic closed loop boost control?
