Thanks for all the replies I'll go shopping for the basics and buy the rest when I come to it but this is a great list so far. About the engine manual, I have an AE82 repair manual but I better find one specifically for the GZE although i'm unsure from where to get it?

If you dont have a standard socket/spanner set. Go to bunning and get a Cresent tool set which folds up into a carry container. You may need a few larger spanners and a good torque wrench.

I rebuild the whole ke30 4agte with the cresent set plus a few other tools. Not bad for 128 dollars.

What vintage 4AGZE? early(USA AW11 type) or later (AE92/AE101 non USA type)? If it is early I, or one of the other USA members can order it from Toyota for you... and if it is later, ask a member in one of that 4AGZE's market to do the same... CAN'T beat the factory manusl!!!

Even if you cant find a ZE manual, just go with a 100kw one from gregories or whoever else makes them. The motors are identical for a large amount of stuff and if you do notice any discrepencies just do a quick google on the net and here and if you still have any questions just throw a post or thread up.

Theres many 4age tech heads round here that will be able to help you out.
