dont buy Tein SS as from my experiences there very average (good for beginner but crap if your any good) id go FLEX every day of the week as there height adj with a seperate preload adjustment so you can set your height and your droop as 2 different things.
the valving is abit heavier but you get used to it.
the SS are more of a compromise and if its only a few hundred extra now youll kick yourself later if you dont get them.

by that i mean there is a preload adj for the spring at the top like a normal coilover then there is a clevis that is adjustable also to allow for ride height adj.

look for pics to compare both side by side and you will see what i mean.

i know what they look like, i just don't know how it induces a pre-load into the spring, as opposed to just changing the droop/ride height.
    ahh i see what you're saying.. (but it's not pre-load )

Spoken to Wholesale, this was the reply I got:
"The main reason why Tein advertise the Super-Street kit as designed for Australian roads is because the Mono-Flex kit is illegal for NSW due to the adjustable lower clevis bracket."

I need to check on legalities for WA, he didn't give me indication which one he recommends, just gave me some drive in, drive out prices. He also said there is a 10 week wait on the Mono Flex. I've asked for clarification on which one he'd recommend ignoring legalities (I don't think they'd be illegal in WA), I'm just waiting on a reply.

Nope, it was Luke who replied. Haha, springs can be changed Eddy boy. But yes, I did look at them and think they're a little soft. What are the ones on the Mono Flex?

Got in contact with the guys from WA Suspensions here, he recommends I go Super Streets for what I'm after, I'm still in consultation with him though, I've asked him some more questions, including can he do any better a price.
