Default 1jz chaser changed to 2jz aristo Front Sump?

    hey guys...got a 1jz in my ma61 supra from a chaser

    and the sump is busted

will a 2jz aristo sump bolt straight on??

ino that sum1 asked saying that they had a JZZ30 1JZ rear sump, pull the bastard off, throw it away and bolt on an Aristo 2JZ front sump. Doable?

so just making sure the same rule applys with a chaser front sump - just want to know that i wont need any other parts or anything custom

    cheers

if they are both frontsumps from turbo engines then it will be fine but if its a 2jzge then you will have to drill and tap the return section for the oil from the turbos.

actually are you talking about the steel pan or the alloy section? that being said they are both interchangeable so it should be a no brainer.

    cheers

aristoe turbo and chaser turdbro are same (havent had em side by side, but they've both been used in the same application without issue)

how, and what exactly did you fuck up on the sump?

just been told the steel pan is rooted, will the 2jz pan fit straight on??, as that way be alot easier then swaping over the whole sump

yeah, it should go straight over, as long as you get the right pan, from a front sump, im guessing they're not interchangable, who knows though, they could be!

dunno if you'd find someone willing to seperate the sump and the pan?

yeah looks like im buying the whole sump, anyone want the other half lol

    cheers for info guys

we are 95% certain the steel pans swap over no hassle ? 1jz to 2jz

as swaping the whole sump over = lots more $$, and would put me way off

This is what came on my Jza70 rear sump , your right it's no good to you . You will need eveything including the baffle plate . If you get an Aristo front sump then the oil retuen line is a bolt on provided you get the little adapter piece that attaches to the upper pan . Pics for ya and hope it helps !!
