i have JZX90 mounts, i can get you a front sump for nix, and i can source you a 1JZ + auto out of either a JZA70 or JZZ30, from there you just need to decide whether you want the hydro fan or clutch fan

i have to re-state , after all your opinions that i want to do it as CHEEEEEEEAP as possible !

    which means
    NO 3SGTE GEN 3
    NO BEAMS
    NO 2JZGTE

    -

i think the MX73 5MGE is best option so far ... but its such a shit motor :S

Also , How easy does the MX83 crossmember bolt up to the X71 ?
If its as easy as a JZA70 to GZ20 conversion then 7MGE might be the best choice ?

Dude, MX73 crossmember and 5MGE. Simple and effective, guaranteed bolt-in. The 5MGE isn't terrible, and ultimately, you wanna focus your attention on the Pig.

if its similar to the soarer's of the same year then you may only need the little plates between the crossmember and the engine mounts? i think?

Nathan: I agree, Pig first bosozoku X71 2nd. How much for X73 engine package and where do u think is the place to find one ? Im assuming they are really fuckin common.

Japlish .. the Z10/11/12 come with the 5M and 6M engines, the MX73 (direct brother of X71) comes with X7 crossmember/engine package 5MGE.

other than missing out on a turbo , i think MX73 option is a good one

You don't need a turbo, you need something that is reliable. Not sure to be honest, check the Quokka to see if something is being wrecked.

There's nothing wrong with a 5M-GE if it's been looked after. It will certainly be a massive improvement over a 1S-U, and it has the advantage of being cheap and a direct bolt-in. DO IT.

remeber john you need to sort a new fuel system as welll...going from carby to EFI...

unless you throw a set of webbers on a 5MGE

    now that would be cool
