what wires are the on-ig and start wires off of the key barrel?

That diagram is all well and good, shows four wires coming from the barrel.. I have 5...
ACC black wire blue trace
ST1 black wire white trace
ST2 black wire yellow trace
AM black wire red trace
and another thin black one...

just need to know which ones to hook my ignition signal and starter signal onto for my 1g conversion.

multimeter.

find what wire is power, what power is ground.

forget the ground one.

tap the power against each wire.

the one that powers up your radio but not your dash is ACC.
the one that powers up your dash is "ON"
and the one that makes your starter crank over is "start"

connect "on" to permanant power, then tap start to power in order to start the car.
