On the blacktop you have the tensioner pulley assembly and the hydraulic ram. The silvertop uses the normal spring type setup similar to a 16V.
It should be a normal Spring tensioned on the ST. BT is hydrologic (i hate you hydrologic tensione)

you're missing a part number for the hydraulic setup, it's got the tensioner AND the ram, so ends up costing more than the silvertop setup.
pm Mr Revhead for the correct price on the silvertop pulley.
does that mean that if your tensioner is ok or your using a silvertop one then its just the same as a silvertop pulley?
from memory... to use a silvertop tensioner on a blacktop, you also need to swap the oil pump as the casting is different.

apply 12V to the VVT solenoid, if the rattle stops it's the VVT pulley.
