Dude do a search! There is a thread about 10 pages long talking about cables to use and lengths of cables!
Try searching "hilux diff ma70 brake", covered by a guy on here 'infotechplus'.

Hey guys,
Recently done a g-series conversion to my sprinter, all the mounts were fine, getting a one-piece tailshaft, LSD wasn't a problem..
I have come across one problem in trying to use the sprinter handbrake cables. The cables themselves are a fine length, up until they bolt onto the back of the drum brake assembly. From there, the hanbrake cables is just exposed wire, wrapped with a spring, and then a big bit of metal is "crimped on". (that attaches to the handbrake lever on the brake mechanism). The problem is, is it's about 5-6cm too long. Can anyone shorten these? Or do i use a different car's handbrake cables?
Sorry its a bit long-winded
Thanks
Seamus
