You mean they did not give you the timing specs for the new cams? i have never come across new cams without the spec's???
G'day,
I'm looking for timing specs for HKS intake cam for a 4age (16v) 272 duration and 8.1mm lift. Part number is 2202-RT097. I have the sheet for the exhaust but not the intake cam.
I need the timing info which is in the table on the second page of the instruction sheet.
Looking for timing at TDC and opening and closing degrees.
All I've been able to find is this
http://www.racecarnewmedia.co.uk/hks...HKS05-2002.pdf
which gives valve timing as 105degrees for intake and 110 for exhaust.
Any help would be appreciated

For god sakes dont use used cams unless you have a very very low budget! You can never bed in used cams properly as they have already been bedded in to the original setup. Used cam's and not using the exact setup in its wear order is asking to lunch things!
Hey guys,
Thanks for that! Yes they're definitely new cams. The paperwork was with the exhaust cam but not in the box with the intake. The cams are with the mechanic - so i'm going from what he's told me. (maybe there's info for both in that paperwork - I dunno he's got the paper!) There's also the possibility that the paperwork for the intake went missing in the workshop somewhere or at my place...
Thanks for the image - I will also have a dig around yahoo auctions.
from what i can see there, that is both intake and exhaust.
上 is for opening and 下 is for closing
oh.. it has it in english also![]()
