    thanks wilbo - yer i found the rod, found the un attached wastegate flap.

    however, it is in such a tight spot and wont go back on for the life of me for some reason, looks like the rod has changed its angle to the hole on the wastegeate, will not push back on again, plus its under a lot of pressure when up against the flap.

    prolly taking it to a shop to do it, i cannot be arsed to pull off everythiing to get to it .

    Yeah it's unlikely that you'll be able to by hand yank the actuator rod back into the hole on the wastegate.

    What you want to do is unbolt the actuator from the front of the turbo, then connect them, then bolt the actuator back on (like lever it into position ).

    all's well now ! car is boosting again.

    my wire is rattling like a mo-fo but when you revv it ! lol

    However we have a new problem, which i am 'hoping' is put down to a bad ignitor lead ! we'll see !

    glad to hear you are having sum luck bud
    about your ignitor lead.. do you think its old and tiresome and perhaps is sometimes earthing if it moves around on you..
    as i have had/ having sort of that issue, and it seems to miss sometimes..
    What is autosalon? Sounds kinda homo.
