Custom headers (or modded ones), custom mounts, front sump, custom tailshaft.

Everything else as per any other conversion.

Exhaust, mounts and front sump, and you can make use of the original tailshaft if you so choose, depends what gearbox you use and where you mount the engine.

yes i did..... but i asked what ones.... i know the exhaust has to be modified, but other people have surely done this conversion a few times, i wanted to know if anyone had learnt of interchangable parts.... saying the sump needs to be changed doesnt help when i dont know what engine it needs to come off of. i havent done a engine swap like this before hence trying to get all the info i can get on it.

Front sump as stated twice above.

I have not heard of anyone being able to use factory steel mounts to do the conversion.

Browse toyotacressida forums, a couple of guys have done semi writeups on the conversion.

There have probably been about 6 or so people I can think of who have done this, and all have done it slightly different to each other. Some have modded factory headers, others have built extractors. Some have used 7M auto, some have used 1UZ auto with factory donut, some have used 1UZ auto and modded it to fit 7M slipyoke.

Thus far there is no 'correct' way to do the conversion.
