1J's are catching up quick smart though.

i got me one at least 15 years old and it cops a belting all the time, well it did when it was still my daily, i had 3.5years of un interrupted thrashing days. She still going strong!!

The 7M on the other copped a nice drive daily and blew 3 headgaskets in less than 2 years.........

first motor: blew HG within a year (stock boost)
second motor: got massive knock (stock boost)
third motor: blew HG, shat valve stem seals (12psi)
Fourth motor: blew HG, fixed HG, got a knock (not so stock boost)

so far 1j.. no issues... no HG blowing, no smoke blowing, no..... oh wait.... its not in the car yet... oh well, it looks better then a 7m

Moral of the story... John- dont be a girl, put it on the rollers and wind up the boost...
