took the head/ block into the rebuild place this arvo and i'm told that the head was the problem.. it has actually gone soft as a density check showed..

the mhg had left an imprint in the head and was not not sealing inmost places.. guy told me in 20 odd years in the business with toyota heads its extremely rare to see..

so.. i now need a new head and mhg and i also need a gearbox and i also need money and a tissues for my tears

nope unfortunately they didn't check, got given a number of a guy that used to rally a st185 in canberra who might be able to help out with a head.. do you know of anyone squid.. dunno if i can afford much though as this little exercise is costing too much "play" money
