i think the cost of the newer engines makes GT's proposed conversion difficult.
Whereas, there are gazillions of (unfortunately poorly maintained) camry V6 engines - obviosly the dohc verion being the desired model.
Yes, there are a heap of old 3VZ's out there and they have good support parts wise, but my preference would be to run a W55/7/8 gearbox behind out. Still, its a good engine to drop into an RA23/8/40 Celica.
