I'll check later in my parts box if I still have the bracket from when I did the conversion.... if you're not too fussed about a dirty old second hand one...
I managed to twist and shear off my high pressure fuel line hose when undoing the bolts before taking my fuel tank out, yep big fuck up.
I am hopeing somebody can tell me if toyota sell the fuel pump bracket without the fuel pump, and what the part number is, toyota want $950 for the fuel pump and say thats with the bracket. The metal fuel lines are apart of the fuel pump braket assembly.
(i've tried many times but just can't get the EPC to work on my computer 97 or 2001) Also tried the elmhurt toyota parts catalgue and they only list the fuel pump.
I'll check later in my parts box if I still have the bracket from when I did the conversion.... if you're not too fussed about a dirty old second hand one...

yep that is the part! the threaded bolt in the pic sheared straight off, talk about castrating the supra so it can't go anywhere!
I'll give you a holler and a dollar for that bracket(just kidding PM sent)
Cheers Yian.
the threaded bit on the end of that longer pipe on the external side?
if thats it, i wouldve cut the fittings off, on both sides (car and pump bracket) and hose clamped a section of high pressure EFI tubing on there...
Eldar.O.
was going to do exactly as you suggested at least to get me out of trouble.
but i don't want to add another weak link to the system, possibly if the metal fuel lines had flared ends (to get a better seal, like a radiator pipe on the radiator outlet). I actually did this with the nut end but found flaring the bracket end too difficult due to it's shape (would of ended up wrecking the metal pipe).
No worries yians bracket will be here tommorow and i'll be on the road again.![]()
